Campaign Summary

At the start of the NBA 2020 season fashion brand Express wanted a way to boost brand awareness to a new audience on Twitch. As part of an existing promotion, Express had its clothing featured in the video game NBA 2K20.

Strategy

  • To help promote these in-game items and the clothing offered in their stores they leveraged Powerspike’s Influencer network.
  • Powerspike activated top NBA 2K20 streamers on Twitch to promote Express during their live streams.
  • Six streamers produced two sponsored streams, host a gift card giveaway, shared exclusive discount codes, and unboxed an Express care package on stream. The streamers also wore the clothing on following broadcasts and at the NBA 2K20 draft.
